Michael J Spangler is the managing attorney for The Semrad Law Firm's Gurnee office. He covers the firm's Lake County court call in front of the Honorable A. Benjamin Goldgar. He has worked at The Semrad Law Firm since 2014, assisting over 2500 clients in obtaining debt relief.

Prior to joining The Semrad Law Firm, Mr. Spangler practiced law at in the City of Chicago’s law department. He received his law degree from Depaul University School of Law in 2012. He graduated with a B.A. in English and History from The University of Notre Dame in 2007.

I became disabled and my financial situation became dire and I have tried for two years to file for either a manageable chapter 13 or chapter 7. I have wasted thousands of dollars I do not have on lawyers who didn’t understand my complex case or trustee payments with a trustee who also seemed to disregard my situation. My experience with Debtstoppers was PAINLESS. My meeting with a new trustee took two minutes and my much needed chapter 7 was approved. I’m also on a payment plan for the chapter 7 payments so I didn’t have to pay the cost up front. I am so relieved and incredibly happy.
